Our Client’s Vision
The Sammon family wanted their landscaping to complement their dream of a country estate nestled into native woodland. They envisioned a lush mix of native and traditional plants that would bloom throughout the year. They also wanted to ensure their space provided intergenerational fun and added hardscapes to accommodate their outdoor kitchen, pool and patio. The Sammons are very creative and diligent gardeners who have served as co-designers and collaborators as their yard evolves.
Our Functional Design
We designed landscaping to complement the Sammons’ home and lifestyle. We collaborated with them to choose plants that bloomed throughout the year and thrived in their soil and climate. We integrated a secluded fire pit, tree stump jumping path, diving boulders, and woodland paths throughout the property to inspire intergenerational fun. Attractive hardscapes around the pool, outdoor kitchen and patio create gathering areas for the whole family.
How We Made It Happen
We planted native and seasonal plants throughout the property and installed durable hardscapes that last. We continue to work closely with the Sammons as their yard evolves, sometimes removing plants that aren’t working and replacing them with better options.
