Our Client’s Vision
We worked with Sentara Rockingham Memorial Hospital to design and install the landscaping and hardscaping at their new location in Rockingham County. Sentara RMH wanted an attractive and easy-to-maintain landscape that complemented their beautiful setting in the Shenandoah Valley.
Our Functional Design
We designed the landscaping and hardscaping to be easy to maintain and long-lasting. We accounted for drainage and water accumulation by adding erosion management systems and a detention pond. Attractive retaining walls help shore up weak points while gravel and mulch prevent erosion. Our cost-effective solutions help to build patient confidence in this local mainstay!
How We Made It Happen
We covered multiple acres with hardy shrubs, native trees, pavers and retaining walls. We also integrated a detention pond to protect against flooding. One of our favorite parts of the project was designing and installing the Healing Garden, a tranquil space for patients and their families to relax and connect. We installed a natural pond, fountain, paver labyrinth, walkways, patios and retaining walls.
